Planning Today for the Future of Our Movement

To carry out its mission of education about democratic socialism that builds on and advances the legacy of countless activists and scholars, the DSA Fund asks you to consider including the DSA Fund in your will or estate plans.

Legacy gifts play an essential role in our ability to increase awareness of democratic socialist values and policies and use that information to strengthen the quality of policy debates. Legacy gifts also help connect the past and future of our movement and organization by introducing young activists to the history and traditions of democratic socialism.

A bequest included in your will is one of the simplest ways to support the DSA Fund. You can designate either a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. Even many of us with modest means can include the DSA Fund (a 501 C3 tax exempt organization) in our estate plans. The DSA Fund can be designated as a primary or secondary beneficiary of retirement plans, pension benefits, or living trusts. You can also leave a home, other property—including artwork and jewelry—and rights to royalties.
